Rules are an extremely helpful tool in assisting in the organization of your transactions. The organization of your data can be taken a step further by utilizing your ability to prioritize the rules you’ve set for your transactions.
Individual Rules
The order of parameters within rule creation does not affect the prioritization of the rule nor are those parameters prioritized during rule creation based on the order you add them.
Rules Overview
The order of multiple rules paired with other rules on the Rules page impacts priority. Rules are prioritized from top to bottom (in the order they were added until reorganized) and can be re-ordered based on prioritization needs.
Edit Priority
To re-prioritize rules, they should be presented in order of priority level on the Rule page. Select “Edit Priority” on the upper right side of the page.
Select the rule you would like to prioritize and drag it into the new position, then be sure to select “Save”. Rules will apply to future transactions based on the new prioritization!
