How to Use the User Management Page
Please note: Only users with the User Admin role can access User Management.
To access the User Management Page, 1) select the organization drop-down from the top right, 2) select “Settings, 3) then select “User Management”.
Once on the User Management page, you will see a table of all of the users who have successfully onboarded into this specific organization, their email addresses, and their assigned roles.
Inviting New Users
To invite a new user, please follow the steps outlined below:
Step 1: Select the “Invite User” button from the top right, and the following modal will appear.
Step 2: Input the email of the user you wish to invite, and select the Role you want them to have.
Please note: Multiple roles can be applied if needed. As more functionality is added, this will allow for more granular access control, such as where a user could have access to the full platform, but still not be able to view full TINs. Separately, inviting users by an email alias is currently not supported. For example, if a user is officially john.doe@example.com in your Identity Provider, but also uses an alias of john@example.com, the invitation will only work if sent to the official email of record in your IDP.
Once the invite is sent, the invited user can expect to find an invite from Taxbit via email with instructions to complete their onboarding to that organization. Once the user accepts the invitation and completes onboarding, they will be in the Dashboard and ready to explore.
Please note: Invites typically expire after 2 weeks. If the user does not receive the invitation via email or the invitation has expired, your User Admin can resend it directly from the User Management Page in the Dashboard, following the steps outlined above. If needed, please contact our CX team to check for and cancel any pending invitations.
Editing Existing Users
Step 1: From the User Management page, select the Edit icon to the right of the specific user.
Step 2: The “Edit User” modal will appear and you will now be able to remove, add, or change the role of the user.
Step 3: Finally, select “Save User” from the bottom.
Removing Users
Step 1: From the User Management page, select the Delete icon to the right of the specific user.
