The Delete Forms action permanently removes previously generated forms that were created in error, ensuring that only final forms are filed. Once forms are deleted, they are excluded from totals and the table view going forward. This action is only available for forms in a Generated state.
If a form already has a status of Filed, you will not be able to delete the form. To void the form with the applicable tax authority, please refer to this guide: How to Void Forms
Please refer to the steps outlined below for information on how to delete generated forms:
Step 1: From the Forms page, select the tax form and the tax year from the top right.
Step 2: Filter to the necessary accounts.
Step 3: Select the checkbox to the left of the accounts.
Step 4: Select “Delete Forms” from the bottom.
Please note: No more than 100 generated forms at a time can be deleted. If you need to delete more than this, you can utilize the filters on this page to delete forms in batches.
